What to expect at A Public meeting

Every Board of County Commissioners meeting includes a public comment opportunity where residents can speak about issues that matter to them. Showing up helps commissioners understand what their constituents value and encourages them to take action.

Meetings tend to be straightforward and procedural. You might sign in, wait for the public comment portion of the agenda, and then you’ll have a brief window to speak. Comments are typically limited to three minutes or less, so it’s worth jotting down a few key points before you go.
